I'm going to start keeping a note of my dieting progress here. As I doubt many of you are interested in the figures so I'll be restricting the entries to a friends group. If you want to see them, comment here and I'll add you to the group. The idea is that I'll get all the benefits of going to weightwatchers (i.e. the scrutiny and record and stuff) but without paying!

This is really good. What kind of diet are you doing? Cutting on certain types of food or is it like "I don't want to eat anymore?"

Date: May 8th, 2002 09:38 am (UTC)From:The programme seems quite all right, even though I would have my doubts as the number of points may not take into account the content of the food. For example, say you get to have a trifle (with strawberries). The number of points will be the same as when it is a "diet" trifle, with half the calories. Anyway, I will be pleased to follow your progress so a weekly or so update may be good. Who knows, I may end up doing it if it works!

Calories & fats are less important as I understand it (and in my experience - when I had to give up sugar my weight dropped by a stone and a half).
