A book -- Unquenchable Fire by Rachel Pollack (or if you've read it already, then Finder by Carla Speed McNeil -- Damian has copies).
A film -- well, obviously we've all seen LoTR. How about Ghost World if you've not already seen it? Sorry for the obviously comic-themed nature of these suggestions!
A band/album -- oohh, so many. I'm really enjoying Manu Chao's Ultima Estacion Esperanza at the moment, but your mileage may vary -- try Gorky's Zygotic Mynci instead perhaps?
A website -- I'm spending far too much time looking at weird fanfiction on http://www.fanfiction.net.
An LJ or other online journal (yes, I know these are also websites) -- you already know all the ones I'd recommend!
