(no subject)

With any luck, that'll be all the snow we have for a year here. I was a bit suspicious yesterday as in London a thin carpet of snow was followed up by a huge fall of snow but hopefully that's all we'll get here. It'd better come out of this cold snap soon too - I can' t stand much more! I did have a nice surprise last night though as I rang Alex feeling chilly and grumpy in the evening. He was at a committee meeting and so couldn't talk too long but said he'd call me back. I eventually decided I would have to go upstairs to warm up and was listening to the radio there with the heater on when who should pop his head round the door but Alex! Having been to Toms to borrow something he decided he would pop over and give me a hug :) Which definitely made me feel better :)
