I'm sure doing so much driving is making me develop bad habits. I am much less inclined to let people out than I used to be, for example. Probably a reaction to the number of people who try to push in, which always irritates me rather more than is reasonable. Sometimes it's lovely - the drive back can be particularly pretty if the sun is out. Yesterday it felt like an epitome of autumn - all the leaves and colours beautiful, and looking just poised to drop off and tip us over into winter but not there yet. I'd like to have been able to take some photographs, but for obvious reasons, didn't.

I seem to have a bit of a black dog, mood-wise today. No particular reason for it - I actually had a good day at college yesterday - but nevertheless, there it is. We have PE training first thing (team games) so perhaps I'll work some of it off with exercise.

He works on a karma principle that by letting people in/out at junctions you are storing up rewards for yourself later in your journey. Flaky I know, but in practice we find that more often than not the guy you let in turns off at the very next junction. Obviously this does not apply to people who should have got in lane 200 yards back who were just queue-jumping, you get bad-karma/gullibility points for letting them in.
