By the way, anyone want a fully functional DVD player? Plays all regions and most random disks I've put in it. Leaving us as now we have the media PC we no longer need it.

Ellen has a whole bunch of mixed region DVDs, and she's having to get rid of her DVD player because it's unlikely to work over here. so, it would be very much appreciated. thank you!
no problem - it's yours :) I'll drop it over at some point soon - maybe Ellen can bring over a DVD to test it with when she comes over (I've not tested it's region1ness myself having no DVDs to test but it said on the box it would play them).
