Congratulations - you should have a celebratory bath! :-) Steam up the house! :-)

I'm sure Jo wouldn't mind one of those either. ;-)

This summer I was without hot water for just over a month while I scraped together the money for the new water heater and the TWO valves necessary to ensure proper heater function.
(That comes to 800, 150 and 125 rspectively in US dollars. Let us not forget labor, which is half of every project, meaning almost another $500 bucks!)
Anyway, after seemingly months of boiling and cooling water for baths, dishes, lizards, etc. I thought "Fuck! The early settlers had a rough-assed time of it, now didn't they?" 1900 House material I'm not, I guess. I had to laugh. At least I didn't have to cut any trees to stock the fire to boil the water!
The first bath after that kind of experience is always the most luxurious. Enjoy!
