Don't do it at all unless you get an allergy test first. Many, many "henna tattoos" are not pure henna but often adulterated with organocarbon and/or mercury-based compounds which can lead to permanent scarring.
Try it at home with a kit first and see if you like it at all!
(I would get a small, simple, curly dragon-like emblem if I were that way inclined, but I trust my body as it is and don't need to modify it. Clothes are adequate for the whole body-decoration, self-expression, and modification thing, and they're so easy and transient and washable!) :-)
