Deliver us from Finity

George Monbiot cries Deliver us from Finity in an article for the Grauniad. What he's saying reminds me of the mini version of the same thing which happened in the stock market during the internet boom. People were saying "Yes, it's the new paradigm! Share prices will never go down again! There is no better place for your money!" A few nay-sayers, like Warren Buffet were looked down on as fools for not wanting to share in this great free money offer. But a couple of years down the line all those analysts are looking back at that time thinking "What were we thinking!". It also feeds into some other thoughts I've had about economics recently which I will write down soon, I promise.
