Hmmm. Am feeling like poo. Find self horribly tempted to jack in social life for an evening and fiddle with website code with soothing mug of hot chocolate. But KTB is playing at the Linus gig. And I need a hug.
It is indeed - from one of cleanskiesweekly strips (http://www.alleged.org.uk/jrd). Me and Alex lounging at truck - it's my "I want hugs and tea" piccie :)
Wedding invites look rubbish. The (work) website horribly broken. Second screen refusing to work. Paintshop Pro broken. First day of my p*riod. See you at the gig, then?
Oh! I was going to go to that. But I ended up knackered after a long day walking around Blenheim Palace, and I had no idea who the other three bands on the bill were and whether they were any good (although at £2.50, I suppose it's really not that important). Did you go?
Have you not met andypop? He was at Caption (Andy Roberts) so you might have done. Anyway, Linus is his band :) I'd not seen them before but they turned out to actually be really rather good. The KTB set was very nice (although Jeremy and Andy talked rather loudly in some bits) and the other 2 couldn't sing in tune to save their lives!
Let's face it, if he was at Caption then I almost certainly *have* met him, just without realising it.
Dammit, I'm wishing I'd gone to the gig, now, bad weather and all. Mind you, I wouldn't have made it there until about 9:30, so I'll pretend to myself that I would have missed the good stuff by then anyway. No need to correct me if I happen to be wrong.
