All these things that I have done

Oh dear. Appraisal time is on us again which always makes me nervous. We have to ask 6 people to complete a form saying 3 good things and 3 "areas for improvement" about us. As you can imagine, this is an utter pain in the neck. First you have to thing of 6 people who work with you closely enough to think of things and represent a reasonable cross section of users, peers, VPs, etc. Plus I know for a fact that several of those people will be getting asked by absolutely everyone so the whole thing going to eat up their time something chronic. Basically its all going to generate more hassle than useful input I think. Still, they said that had to be finished in time for the salary review which implies that there might be some increases after all, even if there aren't any bonuses which would be cool.

Also, I need a way of making hair grow faster. I'm trying to grow mine out at the moment but its just reached that really annoying length where the ends get in my eyes but it's not long enough to tuck behind my ears. I have to clip it back while I'm at work otherwise it just gets in my way the whole time but then it looks messy. Grrr. Oh well, soon it will be lovely. I'm going to dye it blond for the summer I think.

Nice lazy day today - we have a deskmove over the weekend so everyone's packing their stuff into crates and chatting. Just what I need to ease me gently into the weekend.
