When there's a call coming in from an outside line, our phones display the phone no if possible followed by MCL 435 - any idea what that stands for?

Might indicate a line initially supplied Mercury Communications Ltd (MCL), who provided a lot of corporate telephone services before they were taken over by Cable & Wireless. 435 might be an internal code to select those particular lines, as opposed to another set of BT ones, or something.
