tinyjo: (webdesigner - chez geek)
I'm such a sucker for a new (or at least new to me) thing. I've gone from wondering about why tableless is good, to a convert to the idea to an addict - I spent ages this evening fiddling with the design I'm working on for my new website. So far I have discovered that IE doesn't implement min-height but instead implements height as if it were min-height. Which is really annoying. And no-one implements bottom. Currently, my style looks exactly as I want it to in Mozilla, almost right in Netscape and has a really weird bug in IE where anything off screen is rendered wrong and stays rendered wrong when it comes back on screen. All suggestions appreciated :)

Addendum: Damn. I've discovered that the bug is caused by the use of "clear" to prevent the pictures from behaving oddly between very short entries.
