Am very worried about Cassie at the minute - she's barely eating suddenly and is looking very little and old :( We're taking her into the vet for a checkup but I'm really worried about what he's going to say. She's 17 at least and she's had a good time with us, but still. She still makes purrs though and doesn't seem to be in pain or anything, just not really eating.

Date: February 26th, 2017 06:28 pm (UTC)From:Gabe started having periods of not eating when he was about her age; in his case it was usually being tired of the super fancy high quality food and wanting junk food instead ;) (The vet kept saying "...I have given up making predictions about this cat." He was in fourth stage kidney failure for four years when usually fourth stage = a few months left.)
I know that you'll do right by her whatever the vet finds, and I hope that what he finds is treatable with minimal intervention and that she can continue to be full of purrs and snuggles for as long as possible.
