Much though I hate long URLs causing a horizontal scrollbar on this crappy PC screen, I have to thank you for letting me know about that so I could vote no.

Unfortunately there wasn't a "No, no a thousand times no!!!" option.

Indeed. I was amazed to see that about 25% of people had voted yes! They're insane!

I was also impressed by the disclaimer under the poll results:
'Results are indicative and may not reflect public opinion.'
What does that mean? No-one, surely, is going to think that an opinion poll on the net can be safely taken as a reflection of public opinion. But more puzzling: 'indicative'? What are they claiming it's indicative of, if not public opinion? I suppose it's literally indicative of the opinions of poeple who've read the story and bothered to vote, but...
