The Dresden Files, about a Chicago-based wizard who works as a private investigator.
Blood Ties, about a Vancouver-based private investigator, who works with a Vampire.
Moonlight, about a vampire who makes his living as a private detective.

Uhmmm, aren't all these series about blokes, though? I suppose it gets them out of the kinky werwolf sex having to write romantic subplots, though I wonder that it might not kiss bye bye to most of their potential audience?
