Well, here I am at home at last. The open fire is burning, I've had lots of tea and I'm going out to see friends this afternoon. Lovely.
Left work a little early on Friday hoping to avoid the rush on the trains and by some miracle actually managed to! By even more of a miracle the train only took 1.30hrs instead of the normal 2hrs so what with one thing and another I was home by 7pm. Dinner and lying around followed and then bath and bed. Mmmmmmm
Woke up on Saturday to discover that it had snowed - all cold and white and sticky. Grrr. Quite pretty though. Went shopping with Mum and Dad for her pressie from Dad (gorgeous new dining room table) and cheese for Christmas tea and things. Saw my bro - he's so huge, damn him! - which was pretty cool. He's bringing his girlfriend over on Xmas afternoon which'll be cool. Watched Good Will Hunting which was actually pretty good.
Today, laying in, reading in front of fire. I love Christmas :)
