ps. have you had the experience of walking back from the bank with the biggest cheque of your life to deposit to the solicitor?

Indeed I did :) Not as big as the one Alex wrote for the deposit, but still, pretty impressive. We were slightly disappointed that the solicitors don't take more than £250 in cash though - going round with a suitcase of fivers would have been even better!
