I don't know if there is something 'up' with our Exchange Server at work or whether people have different expectations from me, but it takes ages to do a full text search on my 7 years worth of emails in one folder at work (well two folders, inbox and 'sent items'). Also the full text search is flakey like all Microsoft full text searches...
