I hate needles myself so the thought of having to give him two each and every day was hard. But it became routine after a few weeks ... he was good about it and seemed to know that I was helping him (and that he got a treat after!). As soon as I sat on the floor by him and reached for his neck (I had to do the injections alternating each side of his neck) he would freeze and wouldn't move until I patted his head.
The things we have to do for our "babies"!!
Good luck - I have not got any experience with cats ... hopefully Cassie will as good as my dog was about the whole thing.
