Mighty huntress

I came back from the pub this evening to find a dead bat on the floor of the dining room. Fortunately there was no blood - in fact it seemed completely intact - so I was able to just scoop it up in a bag and bin it. Cassie caught a bird on Sunday as well - I wonder if this is going to become increasingly common or whether she was just lucky with the bat or something. We also discovered a frog in the kitchen on Monday night twice! I kind of assume that Cassie didn't bring it in because it was completely unharmed as far as I could see but it was kind of odd, especially because it was in the same place as before when we spotted it the second time. Also I'd closed the back door by then so it must have got in the bathroom window somehow. I just count myself lucky that Cassie didn't find it :)

I must get a referrers script up on this page! I'm trying one out atm on the front page (who's visiting me from Nialls big list o' links, that's what I want to know) and it doesn't seem tricky. But where to put it? I may even have to think about changing my layout... THB I'll probably just tack it on the bottom for now and then redesign when S2 finally arrives.

Wow. I knew that Yahoo! were bad (well not exactly I suppose, just a bit annoying and corporate) and I knew that HTML emails were bad but I didn't realise that the combination was so evil. I was so shocked by this that I have actually registered a second domain so that my parents can use it's non yahoo email addresses even thought they only use plain text. Oh and because I kind of like having my own domains. And jo@charman.org sounds better than jo@tinyjo.net for business purposes :)
