(no subject)

Things are going pretty well but I've come up against an annoying problem which I can't quite work out (to do with displaying bits) so I think I'm going to leave that for now - hope that some light is shed on it tomorrow morning. I'm going to the cinema tonight to see Minority Report which I'm hoping is going to be quite good - on the plus side, Barry Norman thinks it's good, on the minus it's Tom Cruise and Stephen Spielberg so who knows. I'll let you know.

My landlord came over today with an insurance guy to look for subsidence and he's going to replace the carpets in the spare bedroom and the bathroom! Without prompting! He's a real sweetie actually - just what you'd hope a landlord would be.
