I'm feeling quite good today but for a slightly worrying reason. Last night after dinner, I developed a god-awful headache, mostly on the right hand side of my head. It was so bad I decided to pop a couple of paracetamol. This already had me slightly concerned as I'd had a similar headache only on Thursday and I don't normally have problems that often. I decided to lounge on the sofa and wait for the paracetamol to kick in and Cassie very kindly joined me, snuggling up and lying her head on my breast :) But the paracetamol didn't seem to kick. After a couple of hours I decided to get up and run a bath, after which I would go to bed. I changed into my dressing gown and went to run the bathwater. I'd just started it going when I suddenly felt extremely weak and dizzy. My muscles suddenly felt really heavy, as if I'd been working them really hard all day and I felt light headed. I got into the bath and after 5-10 mins or so the feeling passed, just leaving me feeling very tired. As a result, I got a very early night so I'm not tired this morning for a change, which is nice, but I do have residual worried feelings. Almost certainly, these are not justified (I tend to over-react to this type of thing) but still. I guess the answer is to keep an eye on my body over the next couple of weeks and see if any other problems crop up...

Is to do nothing with a good companion. After an extremely hectic Friday with Claire’s leaving do followed by Ian's birthday meal I was glad to have a quiet lie in on Saturday with Alex. We sat around watching cartoons and stuff in the morning and then went and got some videos out (Harry Potter: missing the bits which made the book good and Amelie: lovely in a slightly bizarre way). I cooked chicken and broccoli cheese and after Amelie we watched Groundhog day cos Alex had never seen it (better than I remember but still not really good). Sunday was another lie in followed by sitting round reading together, after which Alex had to go home (boo). You wouldn't want to do it every weekend but just every now and then it's perfect.

OK, I've decided, since the Oxford monopoly is a bit crap in my opinion to make my own Oxford University monopoly. Yes - you too can charge huge rents for living in St Johns :) I've decided on colleges for streets (duh), and libraries for stations. Here is my first suggestion for layout - what do you reckon?
