Working from home went off reasonably well yesterday. I didn't get quite as much done as I hoped as it turned out that I could really have done with one of the files I'd decided I didn't need. Still, fairly successful. Cassie was thrilled that I was there all the time. I note that though she spurns the toys I've bought her so far the cork she extracted from under the bookcase was very exciting and obviously needed to be killed :) She finally seemed to fancy going outside so we went for a short wander in the garden at lunchtime with her on her lead which was very exciting for her although she was a bit cross I wouldn't let her go outside the garden. Still, happy cat :)

Must get myself organised for going to wedding reception/parents this weekend. Remembered to do the wash yesterday, now must pack tonight! Which means deciding what to wear for the reception. Life is so complicated. Alex is popping in to keep an eye on Cassie for me and take her to have her stitches out on Sunday morning (bless his little heart!) so that should be OK. Now you see, if I didn't have to go to work I'd have plenty of time to vote, cook and sort this out before Buffy started :)

Democracy

So, I have votes today. In fact, I have 3. Everyone’s been making so much fuss about a potential low turnout but actually, when it came up in the pub, most of the gang seem to have a view - I wonder how many of us will vote. I'm planning to, but it's easy for me cos its on my way home.

And by the way, bugger! I have just got an Egg card so that I can check my details on the net and Lloyds have gone set up my old credit card on the net finally! Typical
