Firstly, I would just like to say thanks to all of you at the pub, particularly
cleanskies who prevented me from eating more than 1/2 a packet of crisps last night. I may have looked pouty and big eyed but I did really appreciate it. It has occurred to me that the munchie effect is definitely increased by red wine specifically so I think I'm going to try out some other tipples and see if I can find something which gives me less nibble pangs - although I will be having mulled wine when the opportunity arises :)
I am feeling very pleased with myself on the diet front. I managed my fast OK and didn't even pig out afterwards then yesterday I managed to keep my intake down to a reasonable level (with the help of my friends) although we did end up going for burger and chips at Peppers as no where else was serving food. I've bought a salad in with me for lunch today and it's all looking pretty good.
Managed to get the new stereo yesterday - very nice indeed. Tried out all the bits, made a mini disk from a CD, lovely.
