After quite a bit of fiddling around, I have managed to get my laptop onto the network :) And renamed to tinyjo :) Now I just have to figure out how to install ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
logjam. Where does one put the files once they're downloaded? And then what? I need Linux for Dummies really but I've got the internet, which I guess comes to the same thing.
If only I didn't have a horrible suspicion that my network settings were going to disappear on reboot...
