It may just be that you actually have to listen to classical music
Thats very true actually - you do have to give your full attention to get the best out of it. I do find though that some of the best tracks actually grab my attention forcibly - if I've got Beethoven on while I'm working I'll often have to stop for five mins or so while a really good bit comes on.
