The only thing that got to me was she was a) very old b) had been in the public eye since birth
so a UK without her was a novelty shared by anyone (albeit in the UK, a small country on a small planet) under the age of 110. So its a common transition shared by all of people I know (except Zack and Sonia).
But without the media bombardment associated with b) I would probably not have paused to think about a theory involving a) and b). Let me just sidestep out of that "knot"... Who gets Clarence House and the rest of her assets, and her half-million a year from the civil list?
