Being without my normal handbag this week (I'm taking my laptop so I can revise on the bus on the way home) has made me realise that although it seems like I carry around a ridiculous amount of stuff, it's all stuff I need. I have nearly run out of batteries for my Visor. I carry a complete set of spares in my handbag, but now I don't have any so I have to either buy some at lunchtime or wait til I get home to replace them. I snapped off part of a nail yesterday, but didn't have my scissors or nail file to tidy it up so kept catching the jagged edge on things. David pulled off a button from his cuff and I don't have my sewing kit here to lend him. I have sometimes wondered about all the space this stuff takes up, but it's obvious from this that it is earning it's keep. Which reminds me. I must replace the thread in my sewing kit.
For some reason I'm feeling utterly exhausted this morning. This is odd because I left the pub early and everything so that I would get plenty of sleep. Something disturbed me about 1/2 an hour before my alarm went off - maybe that fucked up my sleep cycles or something. It sounded like something coming down the chimney (which would be odd as it's got a cushion in it to stop the rain coming down) but I didn't have the energy to look when I got up.
