Well, I've decided I'm going to try to tidy up my online life a little bit in the hope that I'll get back to it. I've just cut down my twitter following list to just people I interact with in RL plus a couple of people who I *only* interact with through twitter. I hope people I've unfollowed won't feel offended - in practice, I wasn't reading my twitter feed anyway because it was too unwieldy so I won't actually see any more/less of you online than I was.
I'm also planning to get back to a bit more DW/LJ-ing this year and hopefully actually posting more, not just reading. It's a shame the cross site friends list reading project isn't going to go anywhere because I was quite looking forward to consolidating my friends list reading but that shouldn't prevent me from trying to actually keep up with things on both sites a little more. If you've got a DW account and I don't have you on my reading/access lists over there, can you comment and let me know?
