Yeah, I quite like reading on my current phone screen, which is not as roomy as the one on the Desire, so I should be alright from that point of view. Alex and I are both going for a Desire Z and Angharad's got a regular Desire, so you can do a side by side comparison if you can get us together :)
You can get a copy of the old PC app which the hack works on from here (http://nyquil.org/archives/1235-Converting-Amazon-Kindle-For-PC-Books-Now-Possible.html) if you want to have a go - worked for me.
