I'm not going to commit to in depth commentary on political stuff these days (my professional need-to-know days being over). Just about everyone knows about Exxon (Esso) and so on, but there is the case of the Chrysler PT Cruiser... Very stylish, maybe (we have a showroom nearby), but in order to get past the fuel economy regs in the US, Chrysler did a deal with the Bush Administration to re-classify it as a truck, thereby its 22mpg would be inside limits. Nice to have friends, innit? (especially them as what 'as a spare washing machine as mine has just died. Aaaaaarrrgh!)
