I've tried loading Pocket_lj a number of times, and either Avantgo doesn't work properly for me, or the Pocket_lj server is down, or something. Sometimes I lose all my channels, sometimes the Pocket_lj one is not available on my handheld even though the other channels I have are. Pah.
Know what you mean about not wanting to graffiti too much in one lump, by the way. I have a utility called TextPlus which I find to be a great help -- means it suggests words as you write, and it can save a number of strokes. Still a bit of a pain though.
