As an aside: why should you write more instead of reading?
[FX: old fart waving placards and demonstrating against the use of the word "should" without supporting evidence]. But now I should walk the dogs. Otherwise (supporting evidence) they are likely to do #1 or #2 on the carpet while we are out and I will be groggy if I haven't had the fresh air. So I'll leave the rest of the "anti-should" case as an exercise for the readers.
