I'm utterly astonished to have read more of these than you skiffy-intelligentsia types!
Must be the legacy of a misspent youth (spending the years between eleven and seventeen sat in my room working my way through my dad's and the local library's collections of sf rather than hanging around outside Dorothy Perkins...)
