Arrrrrgggggg!!!! Those of you who have been following these entries will be aware of a project I have been working on to try and connect to a DB2 database via our webserver. Or not - I can't remember now how much I've mentioned it. Well, last week, I was all happy cos we'd made a breakthrough and suddenly I could set up the DSN and connect properly. I started writing the web front end to display the data and it was all going swimmingly. I had it pretty much all done. Then this morning it has suddenly started to give me connection errors again. For no good reason that I can see :( Even more confusingly when I PC anywhere into the server and test the DSN it will connect fine (during the previous problems it wouldn't). Plus when I PC anywhere into the box I get an error message about dll files for a service called OnePoint. It's just so frustrating - I don't know whats gone wrong with it. The servers guys are checking out this onepoint stuff to see if it could be that which is causing the problems but who knows. I think I'll get a job in Tescos. Well, maybe not that.
