However, as of yesterday's post I now know when your birthday is, and seeings how I'm still at the 25K word mark, I would try and make other arrangements if I were you *grins* Although if you care to divulge your snail address I could get you a nice hand made card to you :)
I've got a CD-based mp3 player from iRiver. It's the geek's mp3 player -- really well engineered in hardware and software. And neat things like firmware upgrades to enable ogg support (for mine, at least, although I presume they've done it across the board). And a really impressive level of detail -- mine came with a car kit, and Sennheiser ear buds, and an external tube for emergency AA batteries (since the unit itself uses gumstick rechargables).
ah, but the iRiver has 20gig of storage and twice the battery lenght of the iPods as well as having FM radio and inline remote display. I have drooled over iPods but not as much as I am over this :)
