The router is a D-link wireless ADSL router (http://www.dlink.co.uk/dsl-604plus.htm) - the configuration isn't too bad, although I don't love the web interface. Still, I'm getting there. It also acts as an ADSL modem, so if you've already got one of those, you can get a cheaper piece of kit to plug into your modem and take it from there. The wireless PCMCIA card is a Binatone broadband (http://www.binatonebroadband.com/Products.asp?Pnav=Products&Snav=2&catalogID=4) card which is on special offer - only £19.99, which is really cheap - most cards are about £45-50. I've never heard of them before, but the cards seem to work fine - neither of us had any trouble installing them.
