Well, I'm back in the country. I celebrated this fact by going over to cleanskies place for the swan smashing bbq and getting really very drunk (oops) so today I have been being very gentle with myself and reading my friends page. You lot do write a lot. To come, a post about the holiday including the reading list and possibly a post about plans. I have lots of these.

PM programme are asking for diary entries for today - they plan to broadcast some of them tomorrow. Bit weird, but interesting. You're not supposed to re-write them to make them more broadcastable but I shouldn't think that many people have written their todays diary entry yet. Perhaps I should send them this - charmingly meta and all that. It is nice to have Radio 4 back, I have to say. Have I missed any interesting news?

Wandered over to look at my userinfo page and I've now been keeping this journal for over 4 years. I don't think I've had any breaks longer than 2 weeks while I've been away from the internet. I've had a permanent account for really quite a lot of that time and I've been helping out in Support for over 3 years now. I still get a lot of pleasure from dipping into my older entries, particularly as the past recedes and I find myself reading about things I'd almost completely forgotten. Doesn't time fly?
