First step
August 26th, 2003 02:40 pmWoohoo! I lost 3 1/2 pounds! Even though I went to a BBQ on Saturday, I managed to be sufficiently restrained to more or less stick to my diet. Now I just have to keep it up for another 4 or 5 months and I'll make it back to 10 stone. I've actually been inspired to try new things this week, particularly seafood. Hopefully, by the time the first wave of motivation wears off I'll have found enough new, interesting low-fat things to eat to keep me going for a little while. I cooked lemon sole yesterday, the first time I've cooked fish myself apart from re-heating mixed seafood (prawns, mussels etc) for pasta sauce. It's not the ideal time for me to get very into fish as Alex doesn't like them, but he can cook for himself once in a while :)
