You can tell I was ill yesterday because having called in sick I didn't even have the energy to fiddle around listlessly with stuff on the computer - I just went straight back to sleep and then listened listlessly to late afternoon radio. There was one of those programmes that Radio 4 does so well - A Good Read. Basically, the presenter and 2 guests each pick a book and everyone reads all 3. Then they sit around for 1/2 an hour discussing what they thought of them all. It's all very relaxed, the sort of discussion you might have idly with your friends who'd read the same book and lovely to listen to. No vested interests, no confrontation, just a friendly discussion of what they thought of the 3 books. Hurrah for Radio 4.
