Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] coalescent I've been doing the Myers Briggs test.

Your personality type is ISFJ.
Introverted (I) 68% Extraverted (E) 32%
Sensing (S) 68% Intuitive (N) 32%
Feeling (F) 55% Thinking (T) 45%
Judging (J) 82% Perceiving (P) 18%

I was a bit surprised by the result - I normally come out as Thinking rather than Feeling. What do you reckon?

Well I've come out as...

Your personality type is INFJ.
Introverted (I) 75% Extraverted (E) 25%
Intuitive (N) 73% Sensing (S) 27%
Feeling (F) 65% Thinking (T) 35%
Judging (J) 73% Perceiving (P) 27%

...which I can kind of see - although the low scores are probably about right I would have placed the high one's a bit lower - if that makes any kind of crazy sense?!!

Like all of these tests I just had to approach each question quickly, and not linger over it, thinking it through (which probably says something about me too!)

TBH, I'm not that surprised at your results. The T/F divide is close, and on observation, I'd say that you are probably more feeling than you think you are, ie you think you're thinking in some situations where you're more feeling.

However, I'm a little surprised by just how high your judging is compared to your perceiving. Not terribly surprised, I would have put you in a Judging majority, but 82% is high.

But, what do I know? If only we had a psychologist around...

Bah! Bloody Myers-Briggs!

Let's just say, me and MBTI go back aways, and it was an ugly relationship. ;-)

(i used to be INTJ, probably moreso now. ;-p )

Oh, well...

Feeling (F) 70% Thinking (T) 30%
Perceiving (P) 86% Judging (J) 14%

Would have thought I would be more "judging" than that. I tend to have strong ideas sometimes.

I thought the questions weren't nearly specific enough to give any real answers, but then the ESTJ description in the end didn't seem too far off the mark for me.

I suppose, I'm often pretty definite about things. This is not to say that I can't be disuaded (I often can), but I do normally start out with a position and wait to see where it gets me if you see what I mean. I *suppose* that could come out as Judging.

Bored now

I started on the test but got bored before I finished. Hardly any of the questions seem to apply to my everyday life. Maybe I just don't have a personality to test...
