Party

Right. After some dithering, I've finally decided. The first annual Jo & Alex's iPod fest will be held in the garden of our house on Sunday afternoon this coming Sunday from 3pm. You should bring

* Food to BBQ (if you want)
* Drink
* mp3 player if you have one.

The plan is to bring the stereo into the garden/conservatory and hook it up to people's iPods. Each player will be set to play random selections across everything it contains (no playlists!) and we'll see what we get (a very peculiar mix, I predict). It'll be fun!

If you want to come but don't know my address, comment and I'll mail it to you.

But are you going to have time slots or just a GONG! system?

I'll get Alex to time them and then get volunteers each time - time slots sounds like a bit much hassle!

Not bad, and also some stuff I don't know - just what I'm hoping for :)

Hmmnn... tempting, very tempting. However, I'm not sure if I'm ready to expose my woefully eclectic taste in music.

There are also some quite 'long' tracks of spoken word on my iRiver ^__^

I still don't know your address, but would love to be there. My little MP3 player only holds 128M, and I've never looked to see if it can randomize the order by itself, so the world may be safe from my least popular favourites :-)

I think they pretty much all can.

If I brought some MP3s on an SD card, would that work?
