I hate Microsoft

Argggg. MCSE is soooo boring. I hate IPsec, I hate RRAS and I hate PKI. The whole thing is so dull that it just slides through my mind like water does through the spaghetti strands when you drain the pasta leaving only a few clinging remains of dampness. Grrr. On the plus side I did a practice test on 2000exams.com and got 100% which is pretty impressive I think you'll agree. Unfortunately it didn't have any routing questions at all and the PKI question was really easy so I'm not going to read too much into that.

I have another confession to make (ahh LJ - salve of my conscience). I suppose not much of a confession really, just a sad circumstance. I was walking to work yesterday and it was really cold and there was a lovely ginger cat sitting on the pavement in Morrell avenue. As soon as she saw me she came over to say hi and I gave her a quick stroke. She twined round my legs and was obviously all cold and wanted a hug but instead of stopping to take her home and give her something to eat I had to tear myself away and hurry off to catch my bus. She gave me big eyes and everything - I felt so mean. I guess I know how Alex feels now... It occurs to me in writing the above that I nearly always think of cats as female (like ships I suppose). Nothing to add to that - just an observation :)

Anyway, now you know the deep dark secrets of my soul - see ya later :)

Cats

It's actually not a good idea to feed strange cats - they may have special dietary needs you don't know about and you could make them ill.

I always think of cats as female too!

I guess so, and it's not like I have any actual cat food at all (yet :) ) but she had big eyes! I felt so heartless just leaveing her on the pavement with out even somewhere warm to curl up - I can't believe anyone puts their cats out for the night when it's so cold.

Bottom line I'm just a soft touch I guess. I'm going to get my own cats after Christmas - just you wait :)
