Poor Cassie. She looked so sad when I left her to go to the pub yesterday evening. Well, tonight she'll have me all evening - a quiet night in with email and TV I think. Am popping over to see Suz this evening before I go home but shouldn't be too late (although I may well come home with more books :) ). On a related note, boo to Borders who have replaced their nice cafe with a Starbucks :(

Drat. I knew the first Starbucks in oxford should have been demolished to stop the infection from spreading.

And Oxford now loses the distinction of being a true One Starbucks Town (ie dull as ditchwater in American parlance).

Starbucks 1: on the High Street, next to The Body Shop. Has pictures and a window seat.
Starbucks 2: on Cornmarket Street, next to Boots. Has two floors and purple sofas.
Starbucks 3: in Borders. As fas as I can tell, the nastiness level is unchanged from whatever it was before.
