OK, I was going to make a sarcastic comment about how Rose better be evil or going to die, and then I thought....

Maybe (fingers really tightly crossed) Donna pushes Rose off the Medusa Cascade, thus saving the universe. The Doctor acknowledges same but will never speak to her again, explaining why River Song doesn't recognise her.

It would totally cement Donna as favourite nuWho companion :)

What was the moral of this week’s episode? Humans are backbiting irrational scum who need wiping out? Package holidays will kill you? In the year 200,006 we will all still resemble Eastenders characters?

I think RtD is trying to imitate Moffat’s style of story (e.g., easily imitated weird threat for playground fun) and in the process demonstrating that there is more to writing Mr Moffat’s stories than some people might think …

Women incite men to do the throwing out of carriages but don't do it themselves? Although that was undermined by the hostess at the end.

If it had been rather shorter, I think it would have worked a lot better.
