Well, I've printed out everything I need to have and it's still not time for online check-in! Fortunately, I've done all my handover stuff at work bar one thing so I plan to just sit here today and stare and my systems willing them to behave themselves while I'm away :)

I did, on the day before I was to fly out to my friend's wedding a few years ago. Ended up staying late, too, to make sure that there were no loose ends for others to deal with for the week I would be gone. ^^;; Of course, I'm just that weird. XD

When are you going to be in the Western U.S. area, and which cities were you going to visit there? No promises, but if it's nearby enough, I MIGHT be able to make a day trip to swing by and meet up.

It looks like our itinerary is going to be Baltimore, Hamilton (nr Toronto), Chicago, Las Vegas and then San Fransisco. The only one of those I'd really count as Western would be SF, I guess, so I don't know if that's any good for you.

Hrmmm... SF would be the closest (I'm in the Northwest), and that's actually too far away for a day trip. =( Ah well. Perhaps next time. =)
