Truck tickets

Right. Alex and I have, between us, aquired 11 early bird Truck tickets. As far as I know, 6 of those already have homes with me, Alex, [livejournal.com profile] jinty, [livejournal.com profile] cleanskies, [livejournal.com profile] damiancugley and Dan. I think Alex's dad and step bro have first reserve on 2 others. The rest are looking for good homes. The price is £40 per person (and the date is 22nd & 23rd July) so if you don't fancy hauling yourself down to the Polar Bear or other appropriate ticketing location, let me know. As I had to pay in cash for the tickets(!) if I've got one for you, money as soon as you can would really help me out - thanks.

ETA All bagged. Will be in area again on Sat if anyone else would like one picked up for them...

Dibs on two, please. Will pay tonight.

Cool. I actually have 2 in my bag (through bizarre oversight) so you can have them on the spot. Is Ruth coming?

Eep. But one for me, please. (I don't seem to have received a reading week payment from you yet, so if you haven't sent it just take the cost out of that ...)

[identity profile] coalescent.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 02:17 pm (UTC)(link)
... which is not to say I need the reading week payment imminently, if you've just spent several hundred on Truck tickets. Sometime in the next month or so is fine.

I know - sorry! I've been being slow and crap about it. Will sort tomorrow. Do you want to have us subsidise say £25 of yours in lieu of petrol money?

[identity profile] coalescent.livejournal.com 2006-02-22 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
£25 is almost a whole tank, which I'm sure is more petrol than I use. Plus (I hope) you'll be putting a roof over my head again. But if you wanted to subsidise £10 or £15 of my ticket, that would be appreciated.

One for me! If that's okay.

OK. Also, did you see the post about the cocktail party further down these pages?

OK.

Wonderfulness! How much and how shall i pay you?

The cost is £40. It's probably best to go for "pay me when you see me" as then I can hand the thing over at the same time. Poke me next time you're likely to be in town...

I was going to pick one up from the zodiac box office in the next few days, but if you've got one that needs a good home I'll gladly grab one from you. They'll be paper tickets, right? Got stung by queues at Truck for processing the online ones last year.. but then paper ones are the only ones on sale so far, aren't they? Right..

[identity profile] tinyjo.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 05:50 pm (UTC)(link)
They are indeed real paper tickets - hence the cash payment requirement. I too thought "w00t! No queues!" :)

Cool cool!
I was going to stop by pub last night and give you cash then, but timing and dinner and all got away from me. Catch you soon I'm sure, with £40 in hand.
