Ack! My local copy of firefox is not looking good. Please don't let me get stuck with IE!

Edit Whew! Uninstalling civ4 (which doesn't work on this machine anyway) seemed to work.

I had to uninstall mine and download a fresh copy.

Fortunatly, uninstalling something else seemed to work.

In what way not looking good. Do you mean not always connecting first time to a website, but if hit reload it goes there?

Failing to start up properly until now.

Ah no, I've not had anything like that. I had thought that the (very) occasional, although somewhat more regular recently, non-first time loading of some websites was just a internet busy problem (which I'm now sure it all was especially as a bunch of neighbours seem to have got themselves wireless networks for Christmas!) but when you made that comment I got suspicious and thought it might be something else...

How's the fireplace? Have you lit a toasty warm fire yet?

PS. My first thought whenever I see this picture of Cassie that you use, is that it's a seal pup! *grins*

Mine does that sometimes, but going into Task Manager and killing the process seems to fix it...

Interesting, you're the second person I've heard of that has had issues with Civ4 and system resources...
