Well, I'm going to my first ceroc class tonight, but it presents me with a bit of a dilemma by being inconveniently timed at 7:30. If I leave work promtly, I could cycle home, cook and eat something really quickly and then cycle back in but to be honest, that's not really an option that appeals to me. I could go out for dinner between work and the class, but Alex has other plans and I didn't think to bring a book with me this morning. I could buy a magazine I suppose. Or I could go out to lunch (with Alex) and then browse/read in Borders until it's time for the class. Probably my favourite solution so far, but not very exciting.

Anyway, I was going to ask for suggestions but got pulled into a big long discussion with Julian. Never mind.

Browsing Borders is generally what we do - we could never get home in time to come out again to our evening engagements. Tonight we're eating in the FFTMC, probably doing some Borders browsing, then I'm away off to my band rehearsal.

btw, if you want to pop in to FFTMC and be bored by us, you're welcome to! More likely to find [livejournal.com profile] knirirr easily than you would me - he is 6'3", and wears orange. :-) We're going there for dinner at 6.

Actually, that would be quite nice. I'm meeting Niall at 6:30 but I'll probably pop into the FFTMC with a magazine and park on one of the sofas til then. See you there!

Argh. Apologies - got this waaaaay too late. I'm really sorry! We ended up bailing out of FFTMC as we discovered they don't seem to do food anymore...

Really? That's weird. I went there for lunch recently - perhaps it's just the evening? Anyway, don't worry - I had a glass of wine and read my magazine quite happily. In retrospect I think I might have seen you quite soon after I came in - I was sat on the other sofa having a phone conversation - but it didn't register because it was earlier than I was expecting (i.e. 5:45ish). Better luck next time, I guess :)

I could come straight from work and we could meet for G&Ds bagels or something? Going into a training course now--text me if interested! I could be in Oxford by 6:15, probably.

I was wondering if Jo's post meant you were travelling from London specially for this. Is this the case then? Cor!
