(no subject)

Almost completely randomly, I decided to volunteer for working in the Oxfam shop around the corner from me while I was there today. When I asked the chap at the counter was very definite that they do need Saturday volunteers desparately so I start next weekend doing the afternoon shift. I feel surprised but good about the prospect.

I have also lost patience with my hair and decided to have it all cut off. The hairdressers I called were all booked today (only a couple tbh) but next week I will arrange something.

I'm not sure about your all off hair thing though, but then I'm not really a short short hair kind of person...

Yup. I dithered for a while between the b & w and colour but decided I preferred this one in the end. I was less convinced by the rooftop one though because I thought that without a label, you wouldn't know what it was, if you see what I mean.

He he! As anyone will know who's walked round my desk at work - the black and white one is quite striking when you see the full 10x8 picture rather than just a little detail. Still, at least it gives me an idea of what to get you for your next birthday - or the next time you help me out with some asp/lj code! *grins*

I'm working on some funky new photoshop images at the moment to accompany a new CSS driven look for my website. Wish me luck...

(I just wish that the boffins at lj would get round to finding my memories and friends groups/filters again!)
